Part of Jane McCracken's exquisite series of works entitled 'In Homage to The Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia' this piece draws on a number of images from the Rorschach 'Ink Blot' test, to Ivan Shishkin's painting 'Morning in a pine forest' to create a thought provoking and inspiring piece which explores the dangers and threat posed to orphaned brown bears at the loss of their mother in an erie and dreamlike setting.
This work, as with all the others in the series have been featured in a number of solo exhibitions and are the subject of considerable interest from Animal Conservation groups and collectors alike.
